Our Commitment

The Full Crumb is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and services, and we are actively working to make our digital presence as inclusive as possible.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, The Full Crumb takes the following measures:

  • Include accessibility as part of our design and development process
  • Provide sufficient color contrast between text and background elements
  • Use semantic HTML elements to support screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable and have visible focus indicators
  • Write descriptive link text that makes sense out of context
  • Avoid relying solely on color to convey information
  • Ensure text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Use ARIA labels and roles where native HTML semantics are insufficient
  • Test our Site with keyboard-only navigation

Conformance Status

We are working toward full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. At present, our Site is partially conformant — meaning that some content does not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Known areas we are actively improving include:

  • Ensuring all animated elements respect the user's prefers-reduced-motion system preference
  • Improving ARIA landmark structure across all pages
  • Expanding keyboard navigation support for interactive components such as dropdowns
  • Adding skip-to-content links for keyboard and screen reader users

We review and update our accessibility practices on an ongoing basis.
